چکیده
To achieve strong, successful and commercial aqua-biotechnological microalgae applications, screening, isolation, molecular identification, physiological characterizations are needed. In the current study, a native cyanobacteria strain Arthrospira platensis NIOF17/003 was isolated from surface water of El-Khadra Lake, saline-alkaline lake located in Wadi El-Natrun, Egypt. The cyanobacterium phylogenetically identified by 16S rRNA marker deposited GenBank database (accession number MW396472). late exponential phase A. reached at 8th day growth using Zarrouk medium, with recorded dry weight (DW) 0.845 g L−1. showed 52% protein, 14% carbohydrate, biomass productivity 143.83 mg L−1 day−1, 8.5% lipid, lipid 14.37 day−1. general, values cetane number, iodine value, cold filter plugging point (52.9, 85.5 I2/100 oil, −2.2 °C, respectively) fatty acid methyl esters accordance those suggested international standards. Besides, applying algal-free (FL) as biodiesel byproduct production rotifer (Brachionus plicatilis) revealed that 0.6 FL significantly increased population females carrying eggs, confirming can be used efficiently for B. plicatilis production. study concluded new isolate is promising double sustainable use aquaculture feed.

Production of the rotifer Brachionus plicatilis (Ploimida: Brachionidae) in a Brazilian coastal lagoon.
Secondary production, density and biomass fluctuations, and some reproductive aspects of the rotifer Brachionus plicatilis were studied weekly for two years in a Brazilian coastal lagoon. Food (and secondarily temperature) seemed to be the main factor involved in the summer increments. In the first summer, a mass mortality of fish caused changes in the phytoplankton, which switched from the dom...

the hypothesis is that recent and frequent exposure to lexical items leads to a more fluent production of speech in terms of rate of speech. to test the hypothesis,a one-way anova experimental design was carried out. 24 sednior students of efl participated in a one-way interview test. data analyses revealed that those who were exposed frequently to the lexical items over a week prior to inter...

Growth rates of anchovy larvae, Engraulis mordax, reared for 19 days under constant environmental conditions on a diet of laboratory-cultured organisms, exceeded the growth rates of anchovies fed on a diet of wild plankton. The rotifer Brachionus plicatilis was found to be a nutritious food source when fed to the larvae in concentrations of 10 to 20/ml and in combination with the dinoflagellate...
